How Hanzof pricing works

Quote-based, not catalogue-based

Hanzof does not publish a fixed price list. Every part is manufactured to your CAD file and specification, so the price depends on your geometry, material, and quantity — not on a catalogue SKU.

You upload your files, an engineer reviews them for manufacturability, and you receive a per-part price with a lead time. Quoting is free, and a quote places you under no obligation to order.

What determines your price

Process — CNC machining, 3D printing, sheet metal fabrication, and carbon fibre plate cutting have different cost structures. The same part can differ significantly in price between processes, and we will tell you if a different process would serve you better.

Material — grade and availability. Engineering polymers, aluminium grades, steels, and carbon fibre sheet all price differently, and some materials carry a minimum purchase quantity.

Geometry and complexity — feature count, depth-to-diameter ratios, thin walls, undercuts, and the number of setups a part requires. Complexity drives machine time more than raw size does.

Tolerances — tighter tolerances require slower feeds, more careful setups, and more inspection. Specify the tolerances you actually need; over-specifying is one of the most common avoidable costs we see.

Quantity — setup cost is amortised across the batch, so unit price falls as quantity rises. If you are prototyping now and expect to scale, tell us the eventual volume and we will quote both.

Finishing — anodising, bead blasting, painting, powder coating, tapping, and post-machining are quoted as separate operations where required.

Inspection and documentation — dimensional reports, material certificates, and first-article inspection are available and quoted per project.

How to get a lower price without compromising the part

• Specify tolerances only where the part functions, not across every dimension.
• Ask whether a different material or process would meet your requirement.
• Consolidate parts into a single order to share setup cost.
• Tell us your target price. If your design cannot be made economically as drawn, we would rather say so and suggest changes than quote a number you will not accept.

What happens after you upload

1. You upload CAD files and specify process, material, quantity, and finish.
2. An engineer reviews the files for manufacturability and flags anything that would cause problems in production.
3. You receive a per-service quote with pricing and lead time.
4. You accept the services you want. On a multi-service project you can accept some and leave others open.
5. On payment confirmation, your order enters production.

Quote validity

Quotes are valid for 30 days from issue. After that, material prices and capacity may have changed and we will requote.

Taxes, shipping and payment

GST is charged at the applicable statutory rate and shown separately on your invoice and tax invoice.

Shipping is not included in quoted part prices. It is charged to the customer and confirmed before dispatch. We ship across India and internationally. For international orders, import duties and customs charges are the customer's responsibility. See our Shipping Policy.

Payment is made online through our secure payment gateway. We do not store card or banking details.

Cancellation and refund terms are set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. In summary: full refund if you cancel before production begins, and a free remake if parts do not meet the specification in your accepted quote.
